RD : Jul 16th, 2001..Life Sucks

Spoke to IIO today. RD: Jul 16th, ND : Aug 29th. Here is the thing..on Oct 10th,2001 i got notices from INS saying the checks bounced on all my applications EAD/AP/485. Spoke to my lawyer and he said it was the banks problem and he had it fixed. I checked the AVM and it said On Oct 4th we received your payment of the filing fee.

Today\'s talk with IIO :
Me : Hi , I wanted to know the status on my case..EAC xxxxxx
IIO : Verify your name and DOB
Me : Verified
IIO : We are processing Jun RD and urs is an October case so give it 3-4 months.
Me : But my RD is July and ND is August.
IIO : Ur payment was received in October so your case will be treated as October..sorry
Me : Thanks.

Life sucks. No mistake of mine and lost unnecessary 3 months.
 
relax.....man.....

take it easy.....I still think they are processing by RD...so you will still be fine.....yes ...maybe you will lose a few weeks....but then that\'s how life is...for guys like us......since the past few weeks it looks as if the approvals have almost stopped ....

God knows when they will wake up and do something....

My RD is July 13th and I got the same message you got when I spoke to the IIO 3 weeks back. I was frustated too, but when I checked the AVM on 4/13, I heard the magic words...my case was approved on 4/12. And one of my friends whose RD is in late may and whose case got assigned to an officer 4-5 weeks back is still waiting to get approved..no RFE..no change of message. I hope that you will get your approval soon.

I feel for you, man I know how it feels. Day you will get your approval it would be like a 1947 or 4
