We are in the same boat. My 485 approved on June 27. My wife\'s 485 is pending I have been calling every two weeks since then. INS officer are telling me to call after 2 weeks. Getting tired of it. I am in process of contacting my senator and congressman. Will let you know the result. Considering that I am the main applicant, my wife\'s case should be no brainer. She has been on H4 and did not work untill getting EAD.

EB2,VSC,02/99ND. RFE Received - 06/19/00. RFE Sent to INS -07/19/00.
Received by INS 07/25/00. Still no approval.
RFE asked me to redo 140. I did. Redo 140 got approved Aug 25th,2000. I do not have any clue why there is any delay in approving 485 once RFE requirements have been fulfilled. Tired of waiting....
