I had AP when I visited my home country but my H1 was vaid at that time. I never used my AP instead used my H1B at port of entry.
Do you think immigration guys at port entry do care about you have used AC21?
If you are carrying employment letter get it from the current employer and show it, if someone care to look at it.
I don't think, using AP document, immigration officer can verify your employment history.
Probably someone else can shed some light on this issue.

I called 1-800-829-1040. I was told that IRS usually mail the transcripts but if you want the transcripts faxed you need to make a special request.
