RD 11/3/01 got RFE as per online status

I'm glad that my case is touched. As per online status, I received RFE on my case on 8/4/03 but not yet received the notice. I think notice goes to attorney as per my understanding. Hope to see my approval by this month

Well this is a classic example that of-late INS is giving preference to cases whose FP's are about to expire, to avoid FP2.

Sam99's Nov RD wasn't touched, since he had FP time still left, while other Jan/Feb RD's whose FP's were about to expire got approved., while others are Pending...!! The Unfortunate ones are those whose FP got expired, did FP2 and awaiting for the Officer to re-visit their cases..

So May/June FP1 ers of 2002 ...if you haven't heard of anything so far, this would be the time.....irrespective of ur RD [Nov,Dec01,Jan02,feb,mar]

Yeah I spoke to my lawyer and she will notify me once she gets the notice by mail. Hopefully they will get the RFE notice by this Fri or next Mon. In meantime I will hv my documentation in order to send it to my lawyer.

I see urs is RFE case, and still not yet heard from INS. Hv u tried calling them.

I have never called BCIS and will never call them. Its a waste of time as they don't have answers to any of the questions. They are going to process the GC at their own leisurely pace. In the GC process, after a certain point you just have to accept things as they are.

It is more than a month for ur RFE reply. I see many are getting approvals within 2 week of time frame after reply. Wish you good luck on approval.

arent you in MD. because a friend of mine with RD March 2002 was transferred and had interview in October.
what forms the basis of the transfers is yet again a mystery.
But i guess once you reply to the RFE...you would be approved soon. Good luck.

Even I thot the same, that my case will xfed to Baltimore local INS office that would hv been much easier rather than RFE but I dont regret, atleast my case is touched. Thanks for all the wishes.
