RD 11/2002, Case is with an examiner, what does it mean ?

My laywer initialized an inquiry for my case via a local congressman.

I was told today that my FP is cleared in July and my case is "with an
examiner" and a decision is due within 60 days.

Does this mean I will get some notice in 60 days ? Anybody has the experience ?

I had my FP2 done at the end of July, don't know how they cleared the FP in July.

And, regarding the congressman's response, that seems like a standard response. I would not get too excited or too depressed about it.

Usually, FBI sends the FP results the same day that you give your fingerprints. So, it is quite possible that your FP was cleared in July though you gave them towards the end of July.

By the way, you may want to double-check your post for the dates. RD 2004 and FP done in 2002???? That does not make sense.

I got the same answer

My lawer had initiated a case status inquiry with my state congressman. I got the exact same reply. I am now counting down the 60 days. :p
