"On December 10, 2002, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case....."

Do not know what would be the reason for RFE, but atleast the case has been touched...

Also wanted to update that I spoke to IIO on 12/09/2002 and the IIO told me that the case has not been assigned to the officer. On 12/10/2002, RFE was issued.

Hi Cool_card

The general RFEs are employer letter, pay stubs, w2s and some medical. Prepare employer letter, pay stubs, w2s while you are waiting for RFE mail. So, that you can send your response immediately. It will reduce the your wait time.

It is nice and positive to see your case open. I had RD 10/17/01 (NIW), and was told my case could not be located (possibily in Shelf, storage room) and will be assigned within 8 to 12 weeks. Unlucky Octobiers.
