RD 03/01. Anyone waiting for FP. Please post

AP/EAD recd in June.
Lawyer says faxed two enquiries and even had a talk with IO. IO says be patient.
Tried to contact IO myself. No luck. Any tricks in getting CSC number during normal hours.

     PD: 04/1997 (EB3/India)
     FP Notice received in mail: 10/06/01
     FP date scheduled on the notice: 10/31/01
     FP done (ahead of schedule): 10/09/01
     Center: San Jose, CA

     Wife\'s info is the same. She is still awaiting FP notice.

I have talked to IIO a couple of times. They are not much of a help.
One of them even told me that "I am just an operator, I can\'t tell
you when they will schedule your (or wife\'s) FP. I can check the
computer and tell you whether it is scheduled or not".

That doesn\'t help, does it?

As far as calling is concerned, you have to keep trying the number
till you get through. No tricks there. Just don\'t call during
lunch hours, \'cause I think everyone has a little extra time
during lunch hour to call INS/CSC.

Attorney enquired and got reply there are some glitch in their computer and FP will be scheduled shortly.

This is encouraging news. Unfortunately, my attorney is not willing to make any enquiries until 1 year. So, I fired a FAX myself instead. But so far, no response yet from INS.
