Rcvd FP notice for Philly - VSC working on Saturday!!

Received FP notices for me and wife yesterday. Notice date shown on document: Nov 24 (Saturday!!)
Our details: PD: 9/00
I485 RD: 8/27/01
ND: 10/16/01
Scheduled FP Date: 12/27/01 at Philadelphia INS Center
This gave us a lot of relief as we have travel plans in January.
Please share your experience if you have done FP recently at Philly.

Hi,

Actually mine is scheduled for 12/12/01, but i did 11/24/01 and they accepted it. FP center works during saturday. You can go early than the scheduled date.

Did you call ahead to make an appointment for Saturday or just showed up? Also do you know how long they are open on Saturdays? I may also do mine ahead of schedule. Thanks for sharing info.

You can just walk in.

What time did you go to the center?

I went around 9:00 am.

I went from NJ. Take the proper direction.Try to stick to the direction in the ins website (www.ins.gov).
