Some good news to share..

I got my first FP on 08/21..Have been asked to appear for FP on 10/04..My wife did not get FP though..I am hoping it is a postal delay..

Still no change in status message or LUD..

My 485 ND is a day later than yours. Did you take any extra effort to request FP? Can you share what initiatives you took. Your FP notice is an encouragement to other June folks like me who are yet to receive the notice.

Here is what I did:

Faxed FP expedite letter to TSC 2 times in two months(in May, June 2004)..Nothing happened..

Then contacted my congressman..Got a reply from him on August 12th, 2004 that TSC is going to issue FP in next 30-45 days...My FP notice was issued on August 16th and I got it on August 21st..

I think 2nd approach worked...

TSC stupidity

My attorney received 2 original FP notices for me which are applicant copies and again nothing for my wife..

I am anyway going take my wife for FP tomorrow and then see what happens..

No..I am not in Houston...I am up in North...

I wrote a letter to my congressman..You can easily find who is ur congress man and can contact him..

Went for FP today ...one month ahead of my scheduled appearance...Wife also did not have any FP notice..

And guess what..

We were both FPied...(ofcourse after some explaining)

Some more news..called FBI at 304 625 5590 for FP verification..FBI has already processed our(both me and my wife) finger prints and sent to USCIS within an hour on Sept 2nd, 2004...

one more fp notice

Hi all I got my 1st fp notice today. can some body share
their experience like what this process is what they will
ask and what documents we need to show etc.
my appointment is in october and my wifes is in
september. Can I also get done mine in september?
I have not done any effort for the fp notice and neither my
LUD, online or telephone messages change. they still show
"received on ....date and ......etc".

In all your posts you mentioned your wife didn't get FP notice. How did you both go for FP and got cleared by FBI? Also, You were scheduled on 2nd, October and you went to the assigned site on 2nd, September. What happened then? Did anybody ask any questions, like why you came earlier than scheduled?

With the help of a Senator in Dallas, TX, My wife got her FP notice last Friday. I, as the main applicant, didn't however. The time is 30th, September. It happens to be the date I am going to move out of Dallas. I am thinking about taking FP a couple of days earlier. Please share your experience in taking FP earlier than scheduled. Thanks a lot,

My state has two senators and one congressman..I wrote to one senator and the congressman..both are independent..Senator's office did call me but then did not do anything else..Congressman's office however got back after a month with a letter stating what they did..They told me that I will get my FP notice within 30 days...Well I got the FP notice within 5 days...

I never got FP notice for my wife...Instead my attorney received two original FP notices for me ...I then decided to take a chance and went one month earlier with my wife for FP..I reached ASC at around 12:45 PM..I explained everything and requested them to take both of our FP's...ASC(Application Support Centre) took my wife's A#...and got back after 30 mins...after that we are done...

My advice - You always go with your spouse and take a chance...99% both will be FPied...If it does not then what the heck? U atleast tried..

I really appreciate you sharing with us your experience and presensting advices. I will certainly try my luck going to the designated ASC with my wife and only one FP appointment for her if I wouldn't get mine before that time.

I understood you and your wife went there with your appointment (as main applicant). It's also fantastic that you could get FP done one month earlier than scheduled. Would you like to share information, like if any questions were asked about why you wanted to take FP one month early? I think I am going to try it also because my wife's appointment is scheduled to the day when we got to move. Thanks a lot, and good luck.

Nobody asked any question why we went early..

If they ask then you can give all the reasons in the world..you know..

In your case you can always talk about your move...
