Hi folks,

Just checked the AVM and learnt that my GC has been approved on Aug 21st, 2001. The message said that notice was mailed today.

Then I checked my wife\'s and kids\' cases- It still says that 485 app was recd in Oct 99. Anyone had similar situation.

As you may recall, mine was a RFE for W2 and paystubs in May, 2001. The AVM was updated last week on 8/15 with the response of RFE. And today my case was approved.

I still don\'t believe it. It was a long way to get here. My PD was May 1998 (yes, no typo here) - 3 years and 3 months.

I would like to thank everyone over here in the community. It has been a great help.

Great Ravi !! U just congratulated me and now u see u have been approved too !! congrats again...dont worry about yuor family ..i am sure it will be approved in a day or two..

I know how you feel. My Priority Date is 1297 and I got approved on July 23, 2001 only.

BTW, any suggestions on if what should I do to get my wife\'s and kids\' approval- Call IIO?
