As a US citizen I\'d like to apply for a GC for my mother who is 68
(born near Agra, India in 1934). Her birth was never registered and
no blood relative older to her is alive. She is the oldest among her siblings. She does not have a matriculation degree.
I suppose a Non-availability letter could be obtained from the Municipal
Corporation indicating no record of her birth. Does anyone know what
else INS (or the US Embassy officials) may accept in this situation ?
Will appreciate hearing from anyone with pointers or anyone
who\'s gone thru this for a parent.
Thanks
