"Returned to INS"

I and my spouse did my FP on Aug 15th. Today I called up INS and the Liason Officer told me that mine and my wife\'s FP were "returned" to INS on Aug 16th.
Does it mean our FPs has been processed OK?

My wife and I had the FP done on Aug 15 too (vsc center). I called fbi on Aug 16, and they told me the results were returned to INS on Aug 16.

So, I have the same question.

Also, the FP notice had the same EAC number as the EAC number in my I485 receipt notice. I called the VSC number in the 485 notice (802 number), and when I entered the EAC number, the message said, your case cannot be found at this time.

Do you know what that means? Has any one tried calling INS and entereing the EAC case number in the 485 notice and find what they say?

BTW, what is the number to call to verify if INS has recieved the FP back fron fbi?

I think it is normal for the AVM to say that the "case cannot be found at this time" . I have the same problem, but when I called
up INS two months ago they told me that it is fine.
1-802527-4913 is the number you call VSC. No other no.

HAve you called INS to find out what the status is after fbi returned results to them.

I cannot get through the 802 number. It is perpetually busy. Any idea?

I had the same thing , meaning FP results sent to INS on the same day. Week after I finally able to talk to an II0 who told me that our FPs have been cleared by FBI. You got to keep on redial ( up to 15 minutes) to get the phone line. Once you get the line you may have to wait for 30minutes to talk to an officer. Good luck

DO you have any idea how long it is taking after this fbi approval? Has you case been taken up by an immigration officer or is it still in the shelf? thanks
 
When the data is showed on INS computer ?

FP result was sent to INS the same day it was done.

Does anybody know how long it takes for INS to put the result in the database ?

Just called up INS and was told that they received mine and my spouse\'s fingerprints from FBI and it is "fine".
They are also processing Oct cases. So I guess it means a wait of 5 months (RD ND 03-2001).
Interestingly enough I could get through VSC very easily in morning,
just two redials!! Amazing!
FP done on 08-15-01
FBI sent it back to INS on 08-16-01

My spouses FP did not come out that clear.The IIO just mentioned that but said it has not been rejected.It would be decided by the officer when he reveiws the case in a few months.
Does any body know a procedure to expedite the second FP notice and what to do if the second FP also does not come out clear.
