Quit job to have a baby ?

I just got my 485 approval (I\'m primary applicant), and I\'m now 8 months pregnant. Can I quit my job after I have the baby and stay at home for a couple of years ? thanks for all comments!

You can take unpaid maternity leave for upto a year in some states. Check your state\'s rules regarding maternity leave.

Thanks, beyond the 1 year un-paid leave, I want to be a full-time mom for a few years. Career is second for me. thoughts?

I don\'t see any problem after one year.

Check with your lawyer, First get passport stamped, let the plastic card come, then you can talk.
