What is quit claim deed? Right now, I am on the loan and title, but my wife is not. We need to show we live together, and I wanted to do this quit claim deed. But will it just show my wife's name on it? Will I own the house too or no?

A quit claim deed is when you abandon your interest in a property, not convert to joint ownership.

It is not in your best interest to have someone on the title who is not on the loan as well.

There are other ways to prove you live together - like utility bills, joint bank accounts, car insurance in both names, ...
