Hi all,

Great forum. Got a lot of answers from looking around today!

I am a F-1 student filing for change of status to green card based on marriage to a US citizen. Had a couple quick questions on form I-131 while filing for advance parole.

1. Part 1 - information about yourself: There is a field for "Class of Admission". What is that for? I was thinking visa status at the time of last entry into the US, but wasn't sure.

2. Part 3 - processing information: Under date of intended departure/length of trip, I don't have any fixed travel dates/duration yet. I am just filing for Advance Parole in case I have to travel before I get the GC. How do other people handle this?

Thanks much!

1) F1 STUDENT VISA IF U entered USA the last time on f1 visa

2) I was in the same situation I just gave a random date 2 months from date of filing for 2 weeks . For your case any 2 weeks in January will be good enough as it will take atleast 30 to 45 days to process your Advance Parole.
