Quick question about Passport

I change my name and got my Naturalization Certificate with new name.
I don't have a Court Orders.



The guy on post office took copy of my Driver License and original NC asked me if i was telling truth in this form and told me to sign it.

Packet mailed in Passport Center included

1 Application with New Name and block Other name used - My Old Name
2 Copy of my Driver License with Old name
3 Naturalization Certificate with New Name
Is it sufficient for Passport Center or they need court orders?

I Don't have Court Orders right now, they should mail me within 7-10 business days. ( Im planing to go to Canada on Thanksgiving and I desperately need passport)

Question - Are they gonna reject my passport application?
Or submitted documents are sufficient enough

My application was delivered yesterday in National Passport Processing Center. I paid extra $ to expedite it. What's my chance to get passport by Thanksgiving?
 
Don't you have a passport field office where you live? Getting passport by thanksgiving means has to be mailed by next Monday. I don't think you will get it.
 
You have a good chance of getting it back by thanksgiving ,assuming you sent proof or travel etc

However,you also have a good chance of your application being returned

my dates are very simialar to yours and I also had a name change

The clerk at the post office talked to someone at the PP office and said he could not use the DL with the old name and r
recomended me to fix the DL first and then apply
Follwed his advice , changed the name inDL and then applied

My spouse didn't change DL.
Applied with new name.

Sent following:
-Application which mentioned both names.
(New Name in name field. Old name in other names used field.)
-original NC with new name.
-Copy of DL with old name.

Post office was OK with it.
Actually DL is not required because NC serves as ID and proof of citizenship both.
