Quick Question about G325

on the right upper coner, It asks file number and have a "A-" in the blank, i am just confused which number this is? are they asking Alien number or Lin number? it seems like Alien number since they leave A- for you, but why called file number??? :confused:
The G325 form does asks Alien Number at the bottom.

I put my A# number in there... Also I did the same with my first G325 five years ago and CIS didn't say anything about that one...
 
Another Quick Question
i have been using my friend's address as my I-485 address because they live in a house. i have been living in an apartment, should i write down my apt address in the G325 form? (they ask applicant resident address in past 5 years) i just dont want to confuse them........but i dont want to lie either...
