Questions regarding H1B

I'm currently on OPT and have some questions about H1b:

1. Once my employer sends my H1b petition in, am I going to get a H1b stamp on my passport or what?

2. If lets say I don't get a stamp and I leave US, can I enter back in the country or do I have to go back to my country of origin and get the stamp?

3. Again assuming I don't get a stamp and I change employers do I need to leave the country and get my passport stamped for the new employer or can I change employers while staying in US?
 
h1-b is authorization to work in the us. for travel abroad you have to take your i-797 approval notice outside the country and get your h1-b visa stamped on your passport based on the validity of your h1-b.

every h1-b visa is valid only for the h1-b sponsoring employer, if you change employers you have to get the new employer to sponsor your h1-b also.
