I am inviting my mom to visit US. She doesn't have money so she can't qualify on her own. I am preparing all the necessary documents based on instructions on immigrant's help website. Do I need to send tax returns of the last 3 years as mentioned? The I-134 form instruction mentions only the latest tax return. Will one year tax return be enough, given this is just for visitor sponsoring pupose? I have $45,000 in bank account and stock account and have all kinds of letters of verification and statements.
I-134 form also asks the value of real estate owned and the mortage balance on the property. I have a house, should I also send documents verifying the information provided regarding the house value I am owning? Immigrant help website doesn't mention this document.
Will the consulate keep the documents my mom brings in or they just take a look at them?
Thanks so much for all the answers.
