Questions on keeping priority date

Hello, H1 Gurus,

My Background:
My LC and I-140 were approved.
I'm not able to submit I-485 because my priority date is not current.
I’m now considering changing job.

My questions:
1. Can I keep my priority date?
2. If I can keep the priority date, to let my future employer process my Green Card application with the old priority date, what kind of the proof is needed? Either from me or from my former (current) employer?
3. Has anyone has similar experience?

YOu can keep PD as long as I-140 did not get revoked by employer.

I have a similar question can you keep PD if you are changing jobs within the same company but moving to a different role, there is some overlap but there is a difference in the job function. Is that possible?
