Questions on H1 stamps

Hi all,

I am going back to Hong Kong for about 2 weeks and need to get my H1B visa stamp (first time applicant, had a MS degree from US).

Besides the approval notice, what else should I bring? In addition, I am a little confused as to what I should do with the I-94 (lower right portion of the petition approval). Should I surrender it when I leave the US or just surrender a copy of it? Does anyone know how long it takes to apply for H1B visa/stamp, especially in HK?

Any input will be appreciated. Thanx!

Dunno about HK situation.
But generally you need a letter from employer, employment contract , recent paystubs, original H1 approval, certified copy of I129 application set, certified copy or original LCA, Degree certificate.
Surrender I94 while going out. (at least dont give H1 approval with i94 at consulate).
