Questions on continuing filing remaining application for parents from US

Folks,
While my both parents were in India, I started filing i-130 for them. It was approved and I received WC numbers for them. It went to NVC for further processing.
Now, my parents are here in US. They also have multiple entry visitor visa for 10 years. I want to continue filing from US for their green card. I first called NVC for what action to take, and they told me to call USCIS. When I called USCIS the told me to fill out following forms:
I-693
I-485
I-864
I-765
I-131

I am totally confuse now, and don't really know what form to send out first, and which form to fill out.

Can someone please please advice. What I should be doing, and what are the steps for me.
Is it better for me to start over since they are only here for 6 months.

I-485 is the form to file for adjusting status. Along with it, you also require I-693 medical examination report, I-864 Affidavit of support. If your parents want to travel out of US while the application is pending, file I-131. Form I-765 is for Employment Authorization but also serves as a US govt ID card, so it is good to apply for it. Forms I-765 and I-131 do not need any additional fees. Form I-485 has $1070 fees per applicant ($985 if applicant is 79 years or older).

Medical report itself has no fees but the medical doctor will charge you for the medical tests.

Do you have the original I-130 approval notices for your parents?

Thanks for explanation. I don't have original I-130 approval notice, but I do have recipe numbers.
Little confuse on I-485. Who is filling this form: me (partitioner) or my parents (applicant). Also, part 2 of I-485 is pretty confusing. What should I check mark?
 
After I-130 everything is filed by your parents with one exception - I-864 which is filed by you, the sponsor.

For part 2 in I-485 the applicant should select option (a).

Do you have I-130 approval notice? If not, it might be problematic to file I-485 without it.

Thanks nkm-oct23 for help. I do have both approval notice. Should I include copy of them with the package? Also, how do USICS know that application needs to continue from the United States and not with NVC? I think answer is I-485, but want to bring it up, so that I understand the process.

Once I-485 is filed, the process is automatically resumed in the US. Include a copy of I-130 approval notice. You stated in your previous post that you did not have approval notice.

Once I-485 is filed and you get acknowledgement then parents continue to be in legal status regardless of I-94 date.

To begin the process you need to contact the nearest USCIS approved doctor for medical examination for each applicant (check USCIS website https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV

After you get the sealed medical reports and you have all documentation like birth certificates, marriage certificate, etc. for your parents and you have enough income (with documentation) to file I-864, you should be able to file the application package.

Once the package is filed and there are no deficiencies like missing documentation, expect fingerprinting notice in 1-2 months, interview in another 1-2 months and receive green cards in another month or so. Total time from filing is around 6 months in straight forward cases.

Thanks again. I-94 form…do I need that for my parents. They didn't get one when they arrived in US. I can get number from https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html, but was wondering if it's needed or not.
 
CBP no longer issues paper I-94, you need to request I-94 admission number from the website you listed. Include I-94 number along with I-485 application.

Thanks again for all the guidance.

So just to summarized, here is what I am doing:
1. Fill out and send I-485, G-325A and fee for each of my parents. Send it to USCIS
2. Start medical examination, and affidavit of support and other documents.
3. Wait for finger printing
4. Wait for interview.

Nevermind...I miss understood...looks like I need to send each I-485, G-325A, I-693 and I-864 and other required documents all together.

For additional documents:
1. Do I need criminal history or police clearance forms if they don't have any criminal history?
 
What's the A-number? I am planing to leave this blank.
Also, Visa expiration date on Passport is different then Admit until date on I-94. What should I write on 'Expire On.'
 
No police clearance forms are required for I-485. Applicants will be fingerprinted as part of criminal investigation.

In part one I-94 expiration date (Admit Until date) is required, not visa expiration date.

Just finished medical tests. Have few questions on how to fill 864 - affidavit of support.
So these are my wife's parent. My wife's income is not enough, so I will contribute. In this case, do I need to fill out two I-864 forms (one for wife and one for myself) or I can do joint filing?
