Questions on Affidavit of support

Hello there!
My father a US citizen is planning to petition my mother and my 3 younger brothers ( less than 21 years of age) under K3 Visa, just would like to know in filing for I 864 (affidavit of support) which needed the 3 consecutives ITR form but unfortunately my father was not able to file his ITR for the last 2 years is there any other way we can solve this kind of situation, would a co sponsor be a possibility?

Co-sponsor is if your Dad's income is less than the minimum as required by USCIS. He will have to submit a letter explaining why he did not file taxes.
