Thanks for the clarifications and the support provided in this forum.
My lawyer filled concurrently all forms in 1/29/2007 with PP for the I140 which was approved few days later.
As of today, I received no FP appointment yet, whenever I checked the online status, they all have "received and pending"! They are with LIN#s!
I know this NSC takes longer than the TSC!
When I checked trackitt.com, I found that some cases with receipt dates later than mine had FP appt when I did not receive anything yet from the NSC.
My questions are:
- Is this normal? what are the factors that determine the speed of the process?
- Does this time mean that they are checking names,... or just matter of waiting on shelves?
- Does it have to do with the state where we live? I live in California. May it be related to this too? so many applicants are living in California!
- My EAD expired last month; I am in Absence of Leave status with my company, does this delay the process?
All your answers are welcome to clarify my case and help calm my impatience!
