Dear Members,

I had few questions in reference to my H1b status. I will appreciate if someone could respond back with their inputs.

My H1B visa on my passport expires in July first week. I have the following questions.

1. Can I travel during the first week in June and be back by the end of the month (June) ? Is it advisable?

2. My company is going to file for an extension in March, typically, how long does it take to get the H1b extension process?

3. Once I get the renewal approved, can someone advise how long it takes to get my stamping done here in the US?

4. Can I apply for premium proceesing for H1b renewals?

5. Say I apply for renewal in March and I receve the approval before June (i.e before I plan to leave), will this be OK even if I am not able to get my stamping done? Is this advisable?

Yes you can do that, as long as your visa is valid you can enter into the US any time before the expiry.

that depends on the service centres, however it would be around 3 to 6 months. if you are opting for preminum processing u can get the same in 15 calender days ( INS has to take decision about the case within 15 calender days ).

It would be any where in between 3 to 4 months, please read the tread of visa revalidation.

yes, it would be ok, but make sure that when you land in US, u have to produce new approved notice, I 797 and accordinlgy you should get new I 94.
