Questions about I751

Hi there, my green card doesn't expire till 6th Oct 08, so I know I have to send my stuff in after July 19th 08. My questions are:

1. Do I just send in the filled out I 751 form with the check for $545, along with evidence, or do they need that any other forms (ie, for biometrics)

2. My husband and I moved recently (Jan 08) to our apartment, which is in the same building as our old apartment. Therefore, some of our mail isn't being good at showing our new address as of yet. Most of it does though, is this a problem? (on a side note, I put in a change of address through the USCIS website a while back, which I'm hoping went through alright.)

3. We don't have much evidence to show except for a joint checking account / savings account and our lease which is in both our names. Will this be enough? All our bills were put solely into my husband's name (electric, cable etc).

4. Any other words of wisdom? :)

EDIT -

Received my Congratulatory letter today from the USCIS :) I am now an official permanent resident! :) Woohoo!!!

A1: Money, I-751 and proof of conjugal cohabitation needs to be sent
A2: Not a problem. Just make sure you sent an AR-11.
A3: Debatable. Send as much as possible.
A4: I-751 is my opinion is one of the easiet USCIS petitions. File and relax :)

Thanks for the reply Triple Citizen :)

Had no issues with my green card applications, so I'm not too worried. We just don't have much evidence :)

Gather as much pictures as you can. Make sure it spans 2 years. And choose those with other people besides the two of you.

Send the bills even if it is only in your husband's name.

Send mails addressed to you.

Insurance? Membership to clubs?

Hope it helps!

Good luck!

Hey all, got my biometrics appointment for today the 30th of October. My husband and I went down to the Van Nuys office, and were done with the fingerprinting and picture taking in 5 minutes!!! We were so surprised! The last time we went there, it took 3 hours before my name was even called. This time, just walked straight in! If anyone is going to the Van Nuys place to do their biometrics, go before noon!!

Hi Vaishali81,
Can you include your I-751 dates in your signature? Thanks. Good luck.
