I am in the US legal on work visa. I want to know if it's better to do consular processing after getting married to my fiance who is a US citizen by going to the interview in my own country? OR going for the interview here in the US?

Which one is better and more comfortable?

Also, say if one has done interview by doing the consular processing, after getting to America, h/she has the 2 years green card. Then the couples have to go for another interview together to get the "conditional" removed? Please advice.

If you're already in the US with a long-term visa, getting married to a US citizen and will be living together before the interview, it's generally better to interview in the US.

Whether you do consular processing or not, you will get a 2-year conditional card if you have been married for less than 2 years. You will have to apply for an unconditional card when the 2-year card is about to expire, and you may be interviewed again for it (although they don't re-interview everybody).

Is it true though for consular processing, they only Interview the applicant/beneficiary and not the petitioner?
