Questions about documents for stamping???

Hi, I got the approval notice yesterday.
I looked at the letter and it says to bring: Aproval notice, your arrival/departure record, Form I-94, Passport, two photos.

What's arrival/departure record?? is it I-94?
Form I-94? does it mean the I-94 card stapled on our passport?

Do we need to bring AP or EAD? I saw a lot of people brought those, but it doesn't day that on the notice. My husband used his first AP and the port of entry custom took it and he lost his another copy. Is that okay? He did have
re-entry record (stamp) on his passport. He just got his 2nd approved AP on hand.

Could some one kindly help to answer me? We are going to do stamping on Monday.

I also received the notice today and I wanted to ask the
exact same question.

Actually, I have one more question.
The notice says the following:

Courtesy Copy: Original sent to: [Attorney's name]

This courtesy notice is to advise you of action taken on this
case. The official notice has been mailed to the attorney or
representative indicated above. Any relevant
documentation included in the notice was also mailed as
part of the official notice.
---------

Then, it says
"Please take this notice, your arrival/departure record,
I-94, your passport, ..."

So, it seems like it's telling me to bring the "courtesy copy"
of the notice, while the original one is being sent to my
attorney.

But, people in this board said that they brought the original
copy of the notice.


Should I wait for the original one from the attorney and
bring it to the INS office? Or, bringing this courtesy copy
is enough?

Please let us know the answers to the above question as
well as this.

You need to carry only the documents that they requested. You can carry the extra documents - but it is not required.

Courtesy copy is good enough for stamping - you do not need the original. It will be good to have from your lawyer though - IMHO.

as sb_dei_gc said, you don't need to bring documents that they haven't required. The officer asked us about EAD and AP, but we didn't have them, so we told him the notice didnt say anything about them. And it was Ok. My understanding is that if you're working on EAD, officially you have to carry the EAD with you at all times.
