Questions about AC21

Think about changing the job under AC21. But don't know exactly how this works. I work for company A which spin off our site operation last Nov after submitting my I140 and I-485. New operation runs business as usual except its name changed. Legal team issued affidavit stating no amendment needed for our H1s. after seven months waiting. I-140 is got approved, so are EAD and AP. My question is whether I can use AC21 provided an similar job offer is available. What peperwork is involved? What heppen if current and future job located in different part of country? When it is time to renew the EAD, where should I send renew request? I appreciate, if anyone can share your knowledge and experience. Thank you in advance!

Yes AC21 can be used if 180 days have passed since the filing of 485. Some also take a more conservative opinion of 180 days after 140 approval.
U just have to send a letter mentioning AC21 clause and that U are invoking it. Serach this forum U can find may sample formats.
Here also there are 2 opinions, one be proactive and inform BCIS about ur job change and other opinion is that it is not mandatory to inform BCIS about AC21 then why inform now?Wait untill a RFE comes.

There could be a transfer to that service center or a local office where you are residing.No hard and fast rule on this.Depends on the person in Bcis who is handling ur case.

Depends on which service center?In VSC the current processing times are 90 days for EAD.So people are applying before 4 months,so that incase u dont get it in 90 days then atleast U can take iEAD.

AC21 - Without I140

Hi,
I currently have an I 485 pending, it has been over a year at this point. I have been reading alot about AC21, I'm thinking of changing my job and my question is, I have never applied for I140, since my original visa " L" doesn't require me too.

1-So can I change my job and work using my EAD ? or do I have to apply for a new I 485 ?

2- I just got married to GC holder, does it make sense to file for I 130 ?

3- I also got a letter telling me that my case was transferred for VSC to TSC to "speed process", and I want to move to CA, and I'm totally confused ?
