re: the title
1. I realize that one condition of 2-year residency is that you receive government funding. However, does this government funding have to be for THE PURPOSE OF THE EXCHANGE in order to be part of the 2-year requirement? Or any government money of any form disqualifies you?
2. I am receiving loan assistance from my government. Are these loans a form of gov't aid that could keep me in the 2-year requirement? Also, the loan amount is small and I barely need it. Could I just not disclose the fact that I am receiving the loan?
3. When you cross the border and the border agent is supposed to check off one of three boxes, are they usually diligent about it, or do they just eyeball you, ask a few questions and then check it off? Do you think it advisable to, right from the start of the meeting, make clear u are exempt?
