questionms regarding EAD and AP renew

I am in I485 pending. I am working with H1 status. My EAD will be expired by Dec. 2005, My AP will be expired by Feb., 2006.
1.Can I renew both of them now, Is it too early for the renew applications?
2. I am sencondary applicant, Can I apply job in a new company during I485 pending with EAD? Are there any rules for job changing for secondary applicant?

------------------YES but the use of EAD will invalidate your H1 status
Are there any rules for job changing for secondary applicant?
---------if you have valid EAD you can work with any employer.
