I came here on an f1 visa and I am studying a graduate program. I met my future husband one year before coming here to study. I also came to visit him with tourist visa in 2009. At the beginning I was very happy thinking that I was going to study something that would make me happy and I would have my fiance closer. However, I have been studying one year and I am miserable. Also, we live in different cities. My fiance and I are planning to get married soon, (May) but I will not continue the program. Any suggestions about what to do? I rather go back to my home country and start the paper work there, if I have to continue studying, but I think this process would take longer. It would break my heart not to be able to be with him for long time. Thank you for your replies!
