question

No Title

I don\'t know why you are trying to research this, but , best of luck in your endeavours. EAC is the normal prefix for all VSC receipts .I don\'t know for sure but guess that this should stand for Eastern Application Center.

My two cents...

EAC stands for Eastern Administration Center (or some such thing). WAC (California) is, presumably, Western Administration Center, SRC (Texas) Southern Regional Center and as for LIN, well, the office is located in Lincoln Nebraska so some wiseguy decided to tag the receipt numbers with LIN ;)
(BTW, if you think the above is pure, unadulterated BS, well, I was bored!!)

hmmm

now I\'m confuse a little bit because I`ve got 3 different answers hehe
EAC - Employment Authorization Card
2 - the one that u wrote and
3 - Eastern Application Center something like that so which one is the the right one?

thanks

Not employment auth card surely

It could be Eastern Application Center (like I said in my previous post -- "some such thing"). It certainly is not the card thingy. The employment cards are referred to as EAD -- employment authorization document. Whereas, EAC is the tag given to case receipts (for cases filed at Vermont SC)

thanks

thank u for your help...I have another question I need the tel.# to INS in Vermont to check on my case
do u know how I can get it?
