They might change it, or they might not accept the change.... who knows....
1st: Several people have given you their opinion about what could happen, but no-one of us is an officer at an US-embassy...
2nd: several million people enter the lottery but only 100'000 NL are sent out. So you're chances are slim anyway, you can worry about it later... KCC already has enough to do with answering questions of the real winners, without having to deal with people like you who will probably not be selected anyway.
So give it a rest.
