Most RFE for 485 are issued to confirm employement. Recently my 7th year H1 extension is approved. The I-129 application contains my A#. I have also provided my Lin# of 485 pending too. Applying for 7th year ext means I am still employed with the same sponsoring company.
Question is: Since my employing company has applied for my H1 extension, what is the probability of an RFE on employement ??

You Would Think Wouldn't You

That sounds like a good idea, but I doubt that the files are all tied together. You would also think that they could avoid all of the RFE's by just calling EB cases in for an interview where you would present your employment letter and they would stamp your passport.

Good thought

We have seen cases, where they have issued RFEs for a copy of I-140 for Advance Paroles even in concurrent cases. You would think that it is easier for them to get a copy of it from your other application. But NO, they don't want to do anything out of the box.
