I got the stamp in my passport in December. Its going to be a while before I get the actual card. My question is that can I travel on the stamp in the passport.

Has anyone done that, any problems occured while re-entering the country??
 
my lawyer told me that I can use the stamp on the passport to travel outside the country and come back without any problem.
 
I checked with my attorney

And she said that it is perfectly OK to travel in and out of the country with your passport stamped as your status is already in their system and any officer at any POE should see it.
 
I got my passport stamped today. I confirmed with the immigration officer about travelling with the stamp. It is OK.
