Got the plastic cards yesterday before passport stamping...

Me and my spouse received our plastic cards yesterday.... that was quick.
During the interview the IO had already taken our photographs and fingerprints.

We have got the cards before we could get the Passports stamped...(Stamping appointment is scheduled next week)

Gurus - Do you think we still need to get our passports stamped ?

Please advice..

I don't know your answer but i am a canadian citizen and in canada this stamp is most important eventhough your passport is expired.
This stamp will use for future.In canada will use for citizenship.
If i would be in your situation i would certainley go and stamped.
By the way in my last reply said that i will send rfe but actually i just got my original B.C.from india so i will send to lawyer hopefully he will answer quickfor rfe which was created in my interview.After that i will wait another month then planing to see senator.
 
Passport stamp is temporary proof which can be used if you want to travel outside country...if you have already got platic cards you dont need stamping...

Same as my case we got cards and I cancelled my stamping appointment.
