Question related to documents for interview

Hi All,
We are DV2022 selectees and we just got our 2NL.

Our interview will be in Jerusalem US embassy.
My question related to my wife documents which has documents in Russian issued in Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

They mentioned that documents which are not in English, Hebrew or Arabic need to have certified English translation.

The question what does that mean? And mostly, does the original documents need to have apostille stamp as well beside the translation?

Thanks for the help

The documents need to be translated into English. The document should be accompanied by a signed certified statement attesting to the translator’s fluency in English and the language the document is being translated from. If the embassy’s website does not mention an apostille stamp, then it means it is not required.

Sample Certified Statement that should be prepared and submitted with the translation:

CERTIFIED STATEMENT

I, [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in English, and [language being translated from], and that the attached document is a complete and accurate translation of the attached Islamic Birth.
