Question related to case status!

Hi Everybody!
We are a family of four. We have completed almost the whole process ... latest is the biometric & fingerprint.
On 4/12 I received a mail from CRIS related to my daughter case telling " On April 12, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."
On 4/13 I received another mail from USCIS stating "On April 12, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice".
I assume that means that her GC should arrive soon.
My status "I'm the sponsor" & my wife is still the same : On January 5, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 570 and 600 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

For my son, it says : On December 2, 2005, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed.

We mailed our biometrics and the medical exams along with fees all together.

Do I need to call to check on my son's status?

Thanks for any advice or suggestion

Have a great day

Hello,

Has your son received any request yet? IF he hasn't the best thing to do would be to call the 800 and tell them he has not recieved anything yet. SInce most RFE (additional evidence) have deadlines, you do not want to miss them. Call them as soon as possible. Has you son changed his address recently? I am just wondering if the letter was lost or sent to the old address.

Thanks for your reply. My son never changed his address, we also didn't get any letter from them for more evidence. This message was posted -the same- for all of us when they send us the request for FP & Medical exam.
On mid of January we sent one mail to them containing the medical exams for the whole family along with biometrics & fees. The status changed for me, wife and daughter but not for my son "though the check was cashed".

Now my daughter will get her GC, me and wife not yet but son still showing the old message.

Thanks
