Question regarding signature...

Hi All..
My dad was trying to fill the N400 application and at the end of it, it needs to fill in your 'complete signature' which is legible as per the instructions. Does it mean that you cant use initials in your signature although you might have been using the same signature (with initials) in your passport n other documents?
Can anyone please confirm this...

I signed my application (N-400) exactly the same as I sign every day or as my signature appear on my driving license. However at the time of Oath ceremony the immigration officer asked every one to sign your full name (First Middle and Last). Remember you have to sing in full at that time and NOT print.
Plus I guess if for some reason they don't like your signature, the way you sign it, they will ask you at the time of interview to correct it.
