Question regarding Pilot Program

Are they going to be hiring new IIO to do the pilot program?

What is the timeline for the program. I mean till they make all the concurrent applications current or some other criteria.

Whats gonna happen to applications which filed before 31st July 2002 are they still gonna work or totally put them on hold

One more question

My question is

What if I-485 is filed after July 31, 2002 but not concurrently? I assume that pilot is only for concurrent filing. There are so many cases after July 31, 2002 but not concurrently.

According to my investigation;

1) The CSC has allocated additional resources for the Pilot Program.
Now, the CSC is adjudicationg about 400 non-NIW EB-2 cases filed after 7/31/2002.
The CSC has issued RFE to most of pilot cases in middle March.

2) The resource to adjudicate old cases filed mainly in December 2001 and January 2002 might be slightly increased in middle March, but not significanly as Don Neufeld had promised.

Once the Project Kashmir reports being released, you can count the numbers by yourselves.

There is no strong reason the CSC can justify adjudicating the above newer cases than long-pending cases.

We should put pressure on the CSC to make it move additional resources to adjudication of old cases.

why 07/31/02

Kashmir
can you explain why CSC is using Pilot Program for "cases filed after 7/31/2002".

What's so magic in that date?
Just an arbitrary date?

Thanks

On July 31, 2002, the INS started to allow concurrent filings of Form I-140 (Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker) and Form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status).

As noted in other post I think this might be pure speculation
albeit a good one on your part. My guess is that they will
run through all cases till July 02 in couple of months as the
Pilot program progresses. This is the only way the JIT can
be quickly bought to July or August 02 by August 2004. That
way they keep the backlog down to 2years. All this is a
speculation. Just my conspiracy theory so that people can
feel good adn positive.

Kashmir,

Do you have any idea on how many non-NIW EB-2 cases filed after 7/31/2002 till date?

You mentioned that "CSC is adjudicating about 400 non-NIW EB-2 cases filed after 7/31/2002"

Is the figure 400 counted till April 2004?

thanks

Please check Project Kashmir thread even though it's a SPAM thread.
