Question regarding PD

This may sounds as a silly question.
Is PD is also a deciding factor on when your case will be processed? or just look at RD or ND?

PD comes into play only when establishing cutoff dates for AOS applications, in case of over-subscribed countries or categories. Once I-485 is filed, all that matters is RD..
