Q. In form N400, Part 3 B and C

When I type my date of birth in Part 3 - B then same date auto fill in Part 3 -C which say when did you become permanent resident? What should I do? Can I fill most of form by typing some by hand?

Q- Part 3- C - When did you become permanent resident? Is this date which is actually written on GC or on the date when I got electronic notification? In my case there are 2 dates by a week apart.

Q Part 6 -A: Same issue here. When I try to fill out dates in the first row same date appears in next few rows. What to do, fill by hand? Is this a software giltch which can be fixed by downloading some newer version of adobe. It is PDF file but I am using Mac/preview for the form. Can one save the form or one has fill the form in one session.

Part 6/A: Lets say I have been living at the same address for last 8 years so should I just write for ONLY last 5 years (lets say Aug 2005 - present) or Aug 2002 - present does it make a difference?

Part 6 B.

If I did not have an employer for the last 2 years then what should I do? Should I just mention who was my employer in last 3 or 5 years? In date should I mention complete date or lets say March 2002 till March 2008 would also be fine?
If I did not have an employer for last 2 years, should this be a problem? I own my house paying property tax etc. so there is no question I was not in USA.

You can type ... except the place where you need to sign. PDF issues - check your software - it varies by OS to OS and software to software.
When did you become PR - go by date on GC - it says resident since.
Address - you can write Aug 2002 - present. No harm in that.
Employer - March 2002 through March 2008 would be fine. No need to write unemployed / retired / not working. Not having an employer is not an issue. At max, they can ask you how you supported yourself - primarily to find out if you had unreported income.

OK, thanks I have taken care of software issues. I think it was due to the fact I was using preview for a PDF file instead of adobe.

Q. Those who have filed N400. Do you write complete date like 01/01/2005 or Jan 2005 is also fine.

Q. (part 6) Do you go by exactly 5 years in terms of employment and home address or go like 6 or 7 years back providing you have the same address or long term employer?

Q. Affiliation (part 10). Lets say if you are member of bar in Texas or doctor (and member) in Texas so I assume you would mention Texas bar association or TX medical society?

I have similar questions related to N400.

Q. Affiliation (part 10). What about the professional associations or membership with the religious organization in US.

Q. D - 16. Have you ever been arrested, cited, or datained: What about if you were detained in your COP before coming here and it was mentioned in the asylum application.
