Question regarding business in USA

Hello everyone,
I joined this forum in order to ask a simple question...

You see, i'm an artist and I want to sell some of my artworks (digital posters) through the internet and receive payment via paypal... the thing is that i'm currently an international college student (F-1 visa) studying in New york and I was wondering if selling prints through the internet will void my visa status?

any other additional advice will be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, this is just the kind of situation that I have been talking about. Commingling funds results in two major problem areas: 1. You don't know what your business is really doing. Folks seem to have different comfort levels on that subject, but in today's economy? Big problem. 2. And more importantly, taxes. How do you begin to deal with the IRS?

I think putting them in the same data file would be compounding the error, but I'm no expert on this. I suggest you post this question again in the Sole Proprietors forum where some other experts may be able to help you with it. As Giant Squid Studio just mentioned, this is a tough lesson to learn the hard way. Stacking up the time and effort needed to straighten this out against spending less than $100 dollars on Quicken just doesn't make sense to me.
