Question regarding Birth Certificate

Is it required by USCIS that the birth certificate has to have one's photo on it? Mine doesn't have my photo on it, but it includes the following information:

My name, birth date, place, gender
My parents name

Is it enough? 'Cause the other day I just overheard that there MUST be a PHOTO on the birth certificate, is that true? Thank you.

Photo of which time? Photo when you were borned?

some one is misleading you. Check the registered date.

It is totally not necessary to have the photo on birth certificate. Your name, date & place of birth, parents name etc. is all what they need.

How would a newly born photo look like? They all look the same!
