Question regarding Biometrics collection.

For Biometrics collection (code 3 - fp + photo + signature), does ASC take my photo (using a digicam or whatever) or do I have provide a photo to the ASC? If I have to provide it, is it a passport-sized photo or the "green-card regulations style" photo?

I'm going this afternoon to try and convince the IO at the ASC to do my biometrics and am not sure who does the photograph.

you need not provide them with a photo. ASC willl take a picture of you, when doing code 3 along with your FPs and signature.

Only things you'll need is your FP notice and a Photo Id (Passport or EAD card). For code 3 FP, as waitin4MyGc suggested, they'll take your finger prints (all 10 fingers) + digital picture + digital signature.

Regarding early FP, my experience with Boston ASC is that either you go early in the morning or on Saturday afternoon.
