Question RE spouse unemployed

My husband and me are trying to prepare our paperwork to AOS.
He is a USC.

He has been unemployed for years , he did find a job recently.
My father in law is willing to be my co-sponsor.

I saw on the G-325a form that my husband will have to fill out 5 years worth of employment.
Because he made $0 for the past 5 years, he also did not file his income tax.. I know we can include a letter explaining this.

Could his years of unemployment make USCIS deny me a GC?
Or does this not matter as I have a co sponsor?

We have a lot of proof of bonna fide marriage, including joint bank statements and birthcertificate of our 4 month old daughter, and a rental lease with both of our names, bills in both our names, phone logs, pictures, affidavits from friends and family.

I hope someone can help me. I want to do this right.:(

No. That is why you have a co-sponsor. But you should expect that you will be scrutinized a little more closely to ensure that it is not a financial arrangement to support a man who does not work.

He does have a steady (permanent) job since this year though, we'll bring/send pay stubs and an employment letter as well to prove this.
And my husband is the USC, I'm from The Netherlands.
 
When my wife and i went in for the interview, i was 21, she was half a month until 20.
Get this, we were both unemployeed and NEVER HELD A JOB BEFORE. yep. (at least not officially. my parents own a small business and i occasionally helped out but that wasn't mentioned in any way to the IO or anywhere in the documents).
We were approved despite these circumstances because our marriage was completely legitimate and we had sufficient proofs. we had bank statements, lease, phone bills, and insurance under both of our names but i believe (just my thought from observation of the IO's reaction) what convinced him was our photo album. we had a whole scrapbook with full of photos and nicely decorated (my wife likes to do that). most of her relative familys attended and most importantly, it was real.
bottomline is... no, they cannot deny GC just because of your husband's employment status (but of course you need a co-sponsor to show that he will not become a "public charge"). From what i've read from you, you should be fine as long as the marriage is real. Just make sure your documents regarding co-sponsor is done right. that will be absolutely essential if you two do not meet the income requirement.. i think it's like 110% of US poverty level or more.. or something like that, i would double-check on that though.
