HI there guys,
as we all know that now a days visiiting visa is limited to one month only. how to extend it for couple of months after reaching to usa?
any valuable comments plz

Are you sure that at POE they are issuing the I-94 for one month? I think if they do that is by mistake and you can get it extended for 6 months and INS will reimburse you of the cost.
 
That's not True

That's not true.... infact they r giving 6 mnths to almost everyone... only thing is u got to ask for it.

Specially if its parents, they don't question 6 mnths.
 
6 months is the present trend

I have heard a lot of parents getting 6 months, I have'nt heard the 1 month recently. So don't worry. Looks like they have not implemented the 1 month rule yet, atleast for parents/older people.
 
My Father and Mother inlaws came this month. They were given 6 months (they asked for 3 months as they had two daughters in this country and the immigration officer jokingly told them, "No, No. three months for each of the daughters"). My brother came and visited us last month and was given 6 months although he had a return ticket in 28 days and he did not enen ask for more than a month. However, my cousin who also came for a visit with her whole family were given visa for only one month (even though they visited the U.S several times in the past and could have used the extra time).
