Guys, I have a question. Today I went to local office for passport stamping. Eeverything was smooth, they didn't ask any question. I surrendered EAD & AP, as well as I94 card. But later a question occured to me. If I don't have I94 card, what should I turn in when travelling outside US? How can they keep record on the time of my leaving US?

As a permanent resident you don't need to turn in I-94.

Then what serves as the time stamp to record one's going in and out? Being a PR one still needs to stay in US for a period of time each year. Without submitting some kind of I94, how do they know when you left US?
