Question on stamping in Sanjose INS - Please share your experince

Hello All,
  I am planning to go to San jose INS center to get the passport
stamping with the courtesy copy of our approval notice.

1. Does the San Jose center accept the COURTESY COPY of the approval
notice? Or do they insist on Original notice?
   

Here is my case details :

      Service Center that approved case : VSC
     PD -- May 97
     ND -- Sep 15, 1999
     Finger print -- Aug 2000
     Company name change hold released - June 19, 2001
     RFE issued -- July 11, 2001
     RFE Replied -- July 25, 2001
     Approved -- July 27, 2001
     Courtesy copy received on -- 08/03/01

Planning to go to San Jose center for stamping on either 08/13/01
or 08/15/01

Hello CSC friends,
      Can somebody help VSC visitor by responding to my above posting?
     My case was filed and approved in VSC, though I live in Bay area. I am regular user and contributor in Vermont I-485 section.
